About the designer

Italian designers Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana formed their official partnership in 1985. The brand’s designs have always been very sexy, and in the 1990s they started putting lingerie on the outside of clothing, a look which eventually became mainstream. There is a strong Sicilian influence on the designs, which often include pinstripes, animal prints, detailed embroidery, lace, florals and other Italian features.
